Light year Reimagined as a PS1 game thanks to a new video made by fans. Light year is a new spin-off game story centered around Buzz Lightyear, but not based on the game voiced by Tim Allen. It’s based on the movie young Andy saw that made him fall in love with Buzz Lightyear and inspired him to buy the look seen in the movie Toy Story. Essentially, Disney releases the movie Andy saw as a little kid in the ’90s. However, one fan took it upon himself to elevate the immersion to another level. In the ’90s, video game adaptations of movies, including the Toy Story films, were a big deal. Sadly, Disney didn’t make a new Buzz Lightyear for this movie, but someone just imagined what one would look like.

Aside from it being an incredibly powerful shot for recreation, there are fun little details like the fact that Buzz always covers his purple head, even in the scenes where he’s in his civilian clothes in the movie. The video also ends by telling viewers that they can pick up the virtual game at Al’s Toy Barn, a toy store within the Toy Story universe that is featured prominently in the second movie. It even shows Rex looking at the game in the store, a possible call back when Rex played the Buzz Lightyear video game in the beginning. Toy Story 2. Hoolopee also noted that the video was mostly hand-animated and it’s their first attempt to pull off something unrelated to a video game. Light year It is currently showing in theaters, and although it has been well received by critics, the film struggles to perform well at the box office in its opening weekend. It’s unclear if fans are exhausted at Toy Story or would rather wait at home to see it on Disney+, but those who’ve seen it seem to love it. Charlie Ridgely Gave ComicBook Light year 5/5 in its review and praised it for not drawing too heavily on the roots of a toy story and creating a solid original story.
